The wolf will live with the lamb, the leopard will lie down with the goat,
the calf and the lion and the yearling together;
and a little child will lead them.

Jesus Christ - our savior and rolemodel
Jesus Christ is the way and the truth and the life. Jesus is also a way of life. Jesus Christ is a lifestyle.
Jesus was full of truth, grace and mercy, compassion, brotherly love and generosity, especially toward those who were poor, the marginalized and the despised.
He helped and loved others, and he wants us to love and help each other. As Christians we have Jesus as a rolemodel.
This page is about having compassion for the weak and to share what you have. I still do not want this page to propagate communism. I believe that the right to private ownership is important to protect.
The choices and priorities you do in life can create conditions for a good or a bad life, rich or poor existence.
If, for example, you choose not to smoke you will save about 1,000 to 2,000 US dollars per year based on whether you'd smoke one to two packs of cigarettes a day.
That is 10,000 to 20,000 US dollars in ten years. Money for which you for example, could buy fine furniture for.
If you choose to forsake expensive restaurant visits, partying at nightclubs with lot of booze etc, then you even save more money. If you are wise and care about your own health so increases the chances even more of a positive and rich existence.
You have the right to reap the fruit of your own work and your own actions. The way you make your bed you must lie in it at night, as it is called (Swedish expression).
Meanwhile, it is also true that in the manner others make the bed, you lie in it. And in the manner that you make the bed for others, they must lay in it. Unfortunately, we hurt each other in life through our selfishness and evil.
What I sow, another must harvest. What other people sow, I reap.
There can be several unfortunate reasons why some people choose to smoke, drink alcohol and have poor health. If your parents are alcoholics, addicts or poor then you have the worse odds from the start in life. One may be bullied, or mentally badly treated and therefore becoime a drug addict or prolonged depressed and because of it - fired. If you grow up in the slums, yes how big is the chance to get a career as a star lawyer or director of a large company? Life is not fair, and we have different conditions already when we are born. Jesus Christ was born in a filthy stable, he washed his disciples' feet. He is master of the universe and he did this. He humbled himself and became a servant.
He lived out his compassionate love and gave it to as many as he could. It is His life that we as Christians have as our role model and then you can not only think about yourself and straight of just being an egoist. I do not believe in forced giving as in communism. The giving must be on a voluntary basis. But as a Christian one should want to help your neighbor.

Jesus Christ - the Son of God - assumed the form of a servant
Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus who, though he was in the form of God, but did not guard about his equality with God, but emptied himself, by taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men. And being found in human form, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross.
Philippians 2:5-8

But if anyone has the good thing of this world, and closes his heart to his brother when he sees him suffer distress, how can the love of God be in him?
1 John 3:17 3:17

There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day:
And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores,
And desired to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man's table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores.
And it happened, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried;
And in hell he lifted up his eyes, being in torments, and saw Abraham far away, and Lazarus in his bosom.
And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.
But Abraham said, Son, remember that you in your lifetime received your good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and you are tormented.
And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gap fixed: so that they which would pass from here to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would like to come from there.
Then he said, I ask you therefore, father, that you would send him to my father's house:
For I have five brothers; that he may testify to them, so that they not also come into this place of torment.
Abraham said to him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them.
And he said, No, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent.
And he said to him, If they don't listen to Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, even if someone rose from the dead.
Luke 16:19-31

Behold, this was the iniquity of thy sister Sodom, pride, fulness of bread, and abundance of idleness was in her and in her daughters, neither did she strengthen the hand of the poor and needy.
Hesekiel 16:49

Listen now you rich men, weep and howl for your miseries that shall come upon you.
Your riches are corrupted, and your garments are motheaten.
Your gold and silver is cankered; and the rust of them shall be a witness against you, and shall eat your flesh as it were fire. You have heaped treasures for yourselves the last days.
Behold, the hire of the labourers who have reaped down your fields, which is of you kept back by fraud, crieth: and the cries of them which have reaped are entered into the ears of the Lord of sabaoth.
You have lived in pleasure on the earth, and been wanton; you have nourished your hearts, as in a day of slaughter.
You have condemned and killed the just; and he does not resist you.
Jakob 5:1-6

But she that only lives for pleasure is dead while she lives.
1 Timothy 5:6

But they that wants to be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition.
For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
1 Timothy 6:9-10

Tell those that are rich in this world, that they should not be proud, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who gives us richly all things to enjoy;
1 Timothy 6:17

And he spoke a parable to them, saying, The ground of a certain rich man brought forth plentifully:
And he thought within himself, saying, What shall I do, because I have no room where to bestow my fruits?
And he said, I will do like this: I will pull down my barns, and build greater; and there I will bestow all my fruits and my goods.
And I will say to my soul, Soul, you have much goods laid up for many years; be at ease, eat, drink, and be merry.
But God said to him, Your fool, this night you shall die: then whose shall those things be, which you have provided?
So is he that lays up treasure for himself, and is not rich in the eyes of God.
Luke 12:16-21

And when he was gone forth into the way, there came one running, and kneeled to him, and asked him, Good Master, what shall I do that I may inherit eternal life?
And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God.
Thou knowest the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Defraud not, Honour thy father and mother.
And he answered and said unto him, Master, all these have I observed from my youth.
Then Jesus beholding him loved him, and said unto him, One thing thou lackest: go thy way, sell whatsoever thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, take up the cross, and follow me.
And he was sad at that saying, and went away grieved: for he had great possessions.
And Jesus looked round about, and saith unto his disciples, How hardly shall they that have riches enter into the kingdom of God!
And the disciples were astonished at his words. But Jesus answereth again, and saith unto them, Children, how hard is it for them that trust in riches to enter into the kingdom of God!
It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.
And they were astonished out of measure, saying among themselves, Who then can be saved?
And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible.
Then Peter began to say unto him, Lo, we have left all, and have followed thee.
And Jesus answered and said, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my sake, and the gospel's,
But he shall receive an hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the world to come eternal life.
But many that are first shall be last; and the last first.
Mark 10:17-31

At the same time came the disciples unto Jesus, saying, Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?
And Jesus called a little child unto him, and set him in the midst of them,
And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.
Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven.
And whoso shall receive one such little child in my name receiveth me.
Matthew 18:1-5

My brethren, have not the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Lord of glory, with respect of persons.
For if there come unto your assembly a man with a gold ring, in goodly apparel, and there come in also a poor man in vile raiment;
And ye have respect to him that weareth the gay clothing, and say unto him, Sit thou here in a good place; and say to the poor, Stand thou there, or sit here under my footstool:
Are ye not then partial in yourselves, and are become judges of evil thoughts?
Hearken, my beloved brethren, Hath not God chosen the poor of this world rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which he hath promised to them that love him?
But ye have despised the poor. Do not rich men oppress you, and draw you before the judgment seats?
Do not they blaspheme that worthy name by the which ye are called?
If ye fulfil the royal law according to the scripture, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself, ye do well:
But if you have respect to persons, you commit sin, and are convinced of the law as transgressors.
For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.
For he that said, Do not commit adultery, said also, Do not kill. Now if thou commit no adultery, yet if thou kill, thou art become a transgressor of the law.
Jakob 2:1-11

Two trenches that a Christian easily end up in
There are two ditches that a Christian could end up in. The ditches arise when the Church preaches only one half of the message of the Bible.

Trench 1: The Liberal lukewarm ditch that only mentions God's love and mercy
Trench 1 is to just preach God's goodness, God's love, grace and mercy. This is most common in churches who also blesses and accept a sinful lifestyle and says that sin really is not a particular problem. These churches never preach about God's wrath and judgment upon sin, or Jesus' words about hell or what sin really is, such idolatry, adultery, sexual immorality, disobecience, drunkenness and debauchery.
They never warn about the consequences of sin and Biblelns message becomes so fuzzy and indistinct that the most it can be interpreted as it suits you.

Trench 2: The legalistic, dömmande ditch which only mentions the law of God, God's judgment and wrath against sin.
The second trench is to just preach God's law, God's holiness, God's wrath and judgment on sin and hell. You forget this God's grace and love and Jesus' words about loving one's neighbor as oneself. It is believed that one is saved by his own good deeds. This creates a cold and hostile environment. Characteristics of this is the belief in självfullkomlighet, self-righteousness, arrogance, complacency, a straight through judgmental attitude toward those considered weaker or more sinful than oneself.
Both of these two trenches are wrong. You have to listen to the whole Bible's message about God's character. And then you understand that God loves us humans, even when we are still sinners, but at the same time God wants us to change ourselves, repent of our sin and stop sinning.
God is truth, righteousness and holiness but also love, grace and mercy.
Jesus Christ preached mercy and forgiveness and eternal salvation through faith in him and that's the most important thing. But he also preached repentance from sin, and he also preached about eternal hell fire and eternal damnation.
God wants us to turn to Him with all our lives and allow him to be our God. This should have far-reaching consequences for us so that it is visible in our lives, so that even non-Christians can see it.

God has forgiveness in his heart for us. God loves us. What's is in your heart for God?
Our good works do not make us righteous before God. But he loves us very much and if we confess Jesus Christ as our Lord and believe that God raised him from the dead, we take part of the righteousness of Jesus Christ himself.

The saving work of Jesus Christ is completed and perfected. The question is how we respond to his offer.

Friends of Jesus will be saved
What counts in the end for God is not how often you sat in the pew in church on Sundays. Even people who don't go to church can have a living friendship relationship with Jesus Christ and thus be saved. And people who often go to church may have a dead faith.
The Bible is very clear that we can not be saved by our own efforts to righteousness. Our own righteousness is like a dirty robe, a dirty blanket before God, because, even if we do good deeds we also sin - all peolpe sin, more or less
God still wants us to strive for righteousness and holiness, sanctification, but it is through the righteousness of Jesus that we are saved, delivered from God's wrath against sin. It is the friends of Jesus Christ who will be able to enjoy eternal salvation.

But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.
Isaiah 64:6

It is Jesus, friends who will be able to enjoy eternal salvation
-Because OF THE PERFECTION OF JESUS CHRIST AND HIS HOLINESS. Salvation is a free gift from Jesus Christ

Faith without works is a dead faith
But don't you want to realize, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?
James 2:20

And why do you call me, Lord, Lord, and do not do the things which I say?
Luke 6:46

You are my friends, if you do whatever I command you.
John 3:18

Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able.
Luke 13:24

Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.
Hebrews 10:38

Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, you that work iniquity.
Matthew 7:22-23

And before him shall be gathered all nations
And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats:
And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.
Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, you blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:
For I was an hungry, and you gave me meat: I was thirsty, and you gave me drink: I was a stranger, and you took me in:
Naked, and you clothed me: I was sick, and you visited me: I was in prison, and you came to me.
Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when did we see you an hungred, and fed you? or thirsty, and gave you drink?
When did we see we you a stranger, and took you in? or naked, and clothed you?
Or when did we see you sick, or in prison, and came to you?
And the King shall answer and say to them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as you have done it to one of the least of these my brethren, you have done it to me.
Then shall he say also to them on the left hand, Depart from me, you cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:
For I was an hungry, and you gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and you gave me no drink:
I was a stranger, and you did not take in: naked, and you clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and you visited me not.
Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when did we see you hungry, or thirsty, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister to you?
Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say to you, Inasmuch as you did it not to one of the least of these, you did it not to me.
And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.
Matthew 25:32-46

Summary of Jesus words on who is his friend or not, who will be saved or not:
What you have not done for the weak, your fellow man, you did not do it to me.
It does not matter how much you have prophesied or what great things you think you have done in my name. You've only been selfish in your entire life. I do not know you.
You're not my friend. Go away.
